Aim: To plan and make an audio presentation as a way of pitching our magazine in a professional and detailed maner in order to apeeal to a publigher.
When public speaking, what is it important to remember to do?
If a publisher was listening to your pitch, what would they want to know about your project?
- Make sure that the words are spoken loud and clear.
- if I there is music in the background, make sure its at a good volume because your voice is what the publisher wants to hear.
- Make sure you will not be using words like 'um, erm'.
- Make sure you are not going to get out of topic on what magazine you are doing.
- Do not use any slag words, has to be professional.
- Speak with confidence
- No hesitation
If a publisher was listening to your pitch, what would they want to know about your project?
- They would want to hear about your audience research
- Introducing yourself, and you talk about the cost.
- Why you are doing the project, by being passionate about the project you are doing.
- You need to show that your personally passionate about this project.
